About
Safe. Caring. Cost-Effective. Worldwide.
For more than 40 years, Premier Jets has supported patients and families during some of life’s most critical moments by providing fixed-wing air medical transportation both domestically and internationally. Our work is carried out by experienced aviation and medical professionals who understand the responsibility that comes with every mission.
Lifeguard Air Ambulance is currently in the final stages of the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI) accreditation process. EURAMI is an internationally recognized accreditation body for fixed-wing air medical transport, with standards focused on clinical governance, operational safety, and quality management. Our policies, procedures, and daily operations are structured to align with these internationally recognized standards.
Under the direction of our Medical Director and designated flight physicians, each patient is evaluated on a mission-specific basis. Medical planning is conducted in coordination with sending and receiving facilities to support continuity of care, with clinical oversight tailored to the needs of each individual patient.
Accreditations and Credentials
Premier Jets is committed to maintaining high standards in patient care and aviation safety. We are currently in the final stages of the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI) accreditation process. EURAMI is an internationally recognized accreditation body for fixed-wing air medical transport, with standards focused on clinical governance, operational safety, and quality management.
Completion of this accreditation process will provide independent confirmation that our aviation operations and clinical practices are aligned with established international benchmarks, offering assurance to patients, families, referral partners, and healthcare providers.
Pilots
All captains hold FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificates, the highest certification issued to civilian pilots and consistent with qualifications required by major commercial airlines. Captains complete recurrent FAA flight evaluations and maintain current Class 1 FAA medical certification in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Flight crews participate in a structured recurrent training program that includes simulator-based instruction at SIMCOM. Training focuses on abnormal and emergency procedures, advanced instrument approaches, and operations in challenging weather environments. These recurrent evaluations and training requirements support pilot proficiency, operational readiness, and mission safety.
Medical Teams
Premier Jets, Inc supports patients with a broad range of medical needs, including critical care monitoring, ventilator support, cardiac and neurological conditions, trauma, postoperative care, transfers to specialty centers, medical repatriation, and situations where commercial air travel is not medically appropriate.
Our aircraft are configured for medical transport and equipped with systems appropriate for critical care, including ventilators, advanced patient monitoring, infusion and medication delivery systems, stretcher configurations, and airway and resuscitation equipment. Medical staffing is determined based on patient condition and mission requirements and may include flight physicians, critical care or emergency-trained registered nurses, paramedics, and respiratory therapists.
Behind every mission is a team committed to preparation, coordination, and professionalism. All personnel meet defined qualification and recurrent training requirements, supported by ongoing competency review and quality oversight. Aircraft operations and medical services are coordinated to support timely activation and reliable long-distance transport, 24 hours a day, year-round.
Aircraft
Our fleet of Learjet aircraft is FAA-certified for both passenger and medical operations. When configured for medical transport, each aircraft is equipped with multiple oxygen systems, patient monitoring equipment appropriate for critical care, and a dedicated stretcher system designed to support life-sustaining medical care during transport.
Fleet aircraft are enhanced with Avcon Industries’ Range and Weight Increase modifications, which provide extended flight range and increased payload capability. These modifications support fewer fuel stops and greater operational flexibility, allowing missions to be planned efficiently while maintaining patient care requirements for long-distance and international transports.
Aircraft Maintenance
Maintenance is overseen by our FAA-approved Director of Maintenance and performed by FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technicians with extensive Learjet expertise. Support is further reinforced through direct consultation with Learjet specialists, guaranteeing the highest standards of reliability, performance, and safety.
Safety Management
Premier Jets, Inc. maintains a structured Safety Management System (SMS) designed to support a strong safety culture across all operations. Our SMS framework aligns with FAA guidance and incorporates principles consistent with Department of Defense (DoD) safety management practices where applicable.
Our objective is to operate at a high level of SMS maturity, consistent with the FAA’s Level 4 SMS model, which emphasizes full system integration, continuous improvement, and proactive identification and management of operational risk. Safety performance is supported through hazard reporting, risk assessment, safety assurance activities, and ongoing review to strengthen organizational learning and operational decision-making.
Environmental Responsibility
We recognize that aviation has an environmental impact, and Premier Jets is committed to balancing the urgency of lifesaving medical transport with respect for the environment in which we operate, while consistently evaluating new opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability in air medical transport.
Environmental stewardship is integrated into every aspect of our business model, and through deliberate operational decisions, modern equipment, and continuous evaluation of our practices, we strive to reduce unnecessary environmental impact while never compromising patient care or safety.
